Orthodontics In Cypress, TX
By Dr. Shannon Pham

Orthodontics Involves -
Teeth straightening and Jaw alignment, combining beauty and function. Identifying problems early in dental development may allow easier treatment with better results, but it's never too late to discuss ways to enhance a smile!
If orthodontic services are needed a lack of insurance and a financial problem being at the top of the list-it can lead to physical and cosmetic issues later in life. Particularly extreme malocclusions can result in the uneven placement of the teeth and lead to aesthetic problems of the face, compromised chewing that leads to other issues, and even speech problems. That doesn't even take into account the problems with appearance. Teeth and mouth issues can make a person feel awkward, lower his or her self-esteem and lead to a reluctance to go out in public or participate in societal events.
Orthodontic services early in life can result in a patient taking better care of his or her teeth for as long as he or she has them. Those who have to wear braces have to be more careful than those who don't-there are certain foods that shouldn't be consumed by people wearing braces, and those with braces need to brush, whereas floss and use mouthwash after every meal in order to maximize the performance of their braces. These habits, instilled during the two or three adolescent years most people have to wear braces, will likely remain long after the braces are gone, which can only help the long-term health of the patient's teeth.
Dental care is important. Orthodontics is no different from other dentists and the earlier you begin investigating orthodontic services, the better! Start choosing a dentist for your orthodontic services today and you and your family will reap the rewards for decades to come!

Dr. Pham and her team is amazing. She is very patient and kind. Her staff provides great customer service and are very welcoming. She is thorough with the examinations and explains what the procedures entail very well. She is gentle and careful with all procedures. I had a deep clean and 2 wisdom teeth extracted. I highly recommend her if you need to go see a dentist but are fearful.

I've avoided going to the dentist for most of my life because of past traumatic experiences, but I had an emergency and found emmy dental. I immediately felt at ease in their office, all staff were welcoming and had a calming presence. Dr. Shannon Pham was so gentle and never made me feel insecure about the state of my teeth. She genuinely cares about her work and it's obvious. I've already recommended Emmy dental to a friend.

My sister comes to place for her check up every 6 months. The staff and the orthodontist have been really professional, very kind, and knowledgeable. They take her serious and they have empathy whenever she complains about something hurting in her mouth. I love this place, I highly recommend.

Dr. Pham is awesome. I get terrible anxiety after getting the numbing shots before getting a filling fixed or a new one. In past experiences with other dentists I’ve even nearly passed out, gotten super dizzy, thrown up, sweating, etc….
Dr Pham was the first dentist to offer me laughing gas, so I tried it, and it worked. I felt calm, I didn’t have a panic attack, my vitals all normalized.
I can’t believe none of the other dentists offered me this even after my complaints. I appreciate Dr. Pham considering my issues instead of just forcing me through a procedure.
